About the course

Overview

This court interpreter course will give you an overview of the knowledge and skills needed for courtroom interpreting, as well as a review of the ethics necessary for Judiciary Interpreters, some basic legal terminology and an overview of the Texas law enforcement, corrections and courts systems.


Class Structure

ONLINE:

Come learn in a fun and relaxed environment. I teach this course online so you can take it in your pajamas (you know you were thinking that!).



Your instructor

I've been teaching this course for a long time; with hands on experience and I have legitimately, "been there done that".


I like to share the wealth of knowledge. If you've got the questions, I've got answers!

E-Certificate

After you have completed the 6 hours of orientation, you will receive an E-Certificate that you will be able to send in to the JBCC along with the remaining required documentation for the application.

Cancellation Policy

 Cancellation policy:  a 10% processing fee will be charged to all cancellations made up to 48 hours before the class. Cancellations done up to 24 hours before the class are subject to a 70% cancellation fee.  No refunds after that time. No-shows will have the opportunity to attend a future class at no additional cost (no refund).
